Hi everyone, I am back, after a great and tiring battle of exam!! Anyhow, it’s OVER! Yay!!
Nothing much, TKM is coming to an end of the season. 13 weeks of chasing, somehow I watch with stressful condition due to major exam that happened during the middle part of the show. I gonna miss TKM very badly.
Now, I have post-exam period/holiday for 9 months~ I guess this is gonna be my longest period of holiday in my life. Currently, I am hooked up with Thai lakorns and I have lotsa it waiting for me to watch…
Recently I have just opened a fan club for Great Warintorn, my fav Thai male artiste. I hope Great fans all over the world can join this club. I guess this will be the last time I gonna post my review on TKM… I gonna miss this coz I started enjoying doing this… but my exam is coming soon and I was really stress for the whole day studying just now… sad but see yuo again next month.
This episode of TKM is about the annual party of The Avillon. Due stress, I didn’t really put much concentration so I gonna write in point forms what I can remember la:
- This ep looks crazy… everyone looks so crazy like having stress through the year like me today and release everything on that day… the waitresses keep bugging Maddie while she is cooking… hell…
- I really can’t stand that Selene Argon using Maddie to help her preparing ‘her’ dish and in the end Selene never help Maddie back…! And no one eats her fish!! But frankly I like Selena’s dish more…
- Love quadrangle: Carla looks sucks for the whole ep coz she knows that Daniel doesn’t love her. Daniel always create attention but Maddie is too busy to entertain him. Daniel wants to talk to her in the end of the ep ( they got drunk in the end ) and then suddenly ‘cut’… I dunno what happen… for your information Malaysia tv always ‘cut’ intimate/kissing scenes…Or the ori one really have nothing, same like this?
- Winston tries to share his secret but no one listens… yeap he is a gay~~ What a surprise!! But the staffs are happy for him too~ The partner is the wedding planner in the Indian wedding ep.
-Christipher and Harry – I can’t understand what kind of conflict they are having… and talking about sleeping with boss’ wife?
-Songs: I love the song with Karaoke writings – Can’t Fight The Feeling… That is the only song I know. The others are nice too but is new to me~ Any idea on what are the 1st and 3rd songs… the 4th one I heard before but I do not know the title…
-During ad that was an Anchor Cheese ad on winning a trip to the Philippines TO MEET THE STARS!! I don’t even have the chance to copy the address coz it was too fast… gonna call the hotline to ask for more… I HOPE TO WIN THE TRIP~~~~~!!!!!!!!!!

Counting down 20 days to my first day of STPM, I am here again to share my thoughts about today’s episode in ntv7… The title for today’s episode, according to the newspaper TV guide, is “Offer, offer”.
There will be a French restaurant opening opposite The Avillon and the boss is offering a Executive Chef’s post to on of the staffs in The Avillon. Most of them thought that Maddie will be the one being chosen to work for that post over there but Daniel was chosen instead. Daniel is so happy and he really have high hopes and he thinks the best for himself. Maddie feels unhappy as she thinks that loyalty to The Avillon is more important than anything else. However, Daniel explained to her that he will not have a better post or chances if he stays in The Avillon and he should grab any chances that he have and Alex said that it is a norm in the cook industry they can always leave for better chances. After thinking all that, Maddie supports his decision. Haha, this time Maddie is the one who ask him out for a dinner and Daniel gladly accepts this… but she CLARIFIED that Daniel is not just a FRIEND but a PEER!! OMG look at Daniel’s eyes hahahaha… But it is good to know that Maddie doesn’t like him but I let’s hope everything goes with its nature course…
Meanwhile, Beyonce will coming to The Avillon for a short dinner after her concert and all of them are busy preparing for her arrival, but every efforts and preparations goes down the drain when she is not able to be there. especially Winston the dessert chef who tries really hard to prepare his dish… awwwww I feel so sad for him… And then there is a waiter (I never see her before), she is like a ghost snooping in the kitchen eating, eating and eating… LOL. She was eating something in the freezer when Daniel pulls Maddie in for a talk… who is that mysterious female anyway?
Selena was rejected by Alex and she feels sucks… I kinda pity her but she has to accept that Alex doesn’t love her. I think they has sex and Alex think was a MISTAKE! Leslie, the head waitress wants to follow Daniel as she couldn’t stand Selena pricking on her anymore. She demands to Harry that either Selena goes, or she herself goes! Harry only give her a sightless-and-go-if-you-want-to gaze and reply her to go if she ones. She is so damn furious upon hearing that.
The new restaurant’s owner wants another chef to be there and Daniel chose the line cook… (I forgot her name in the show but her real name is Carla Dunareanu) Alex is very furious to know that Daniel poach other cooks and reprimanded him. “What have I been teaching you… YOU HAVE NO PRINCIPLES!!” Daniel explained that he is left with no choice and he has to do that. But upon leaving Harry tells Daniel that the new restaurant is not opening and Daniel lost his job and he is welcomed back… but not the case for Leslie. This is because Christopher Avillon has connections with the person-in-charge of the spot opposite. Daniel feels sad of course but he is warmly welcomed back by the team.
To me, I can’t blame Daniel that he thinks like that coz everyone deserves a better chance… right? Since it is a norm in that industry so I think there should be no prob? But for normal people like us I think that is something inhuman, no flesh and blood, to just leave a place with memories like that? Think about it…
The songs featured in this episode include Nobody, Tik Tok and I can’t identify the 3rd song although I am a fan of old songs, the one after Alex scold Daniel that he has got no principle and both of them singing together with the light bulb swaying around… I hope the song will be posted… I really love the version of Nobody, it is so great with Karylle and Christian Bautista and with all the other staffs singing… and the version of Tik Tok, featuring all the waiters, and the singer Gayle is hot and she sings so well!! Was tired preparing for STPM and I logged on the youtube to watch Christian Bautista in the song “Faith” in TKM and just realised that Christian just released his 1st INTERNATIONAL ALBUM — ‘OUTBOUND’, 2 days ago in Philippines…!!! Just a random click and I found something that make me feels so happy~~ I hope it will release in Malaysia soon coz I can’t wait to purchase it… There are still no website selling it till today coz I have searched the whole Internet and got nothing. The album is released by Universal Record Philippines. I REALLY CAN’t WAIT~~

I am soooooo happy to realise that Matt Peeranee and Great Warintorn are on the same Lakorn again — Likit Sanae Ha~~ Great looks really cute in the show, as usual and pair up with the beautiful Matt Peeranee~~ I am so happy until I went to Youtube and watch some of the ‘behind the scenes’ of this lakorn although I understand nothing at all but both of them are just soooo cute~~ I hope the english/chinese subbed version to come out really soon cuz I can’t wait to watch… the feeing is back after they pairing up in Kularb Rai Glai Ruk and I am so obsessed with them~~ They are so match!

Recently random clicked on some new songs to discover and I found a really great Polish singer with great song very lucky indeed. She is Slywia Grzeszczak. It is so coincidental that she just released her new album not ago and I found the 1st 2 songs of the new album really great~~~ The 2 songs are named on the title above (can’t type with my keyboard) which I found the lyrics really meaningful and is like a story. Very inspiring indeed.

OH another week is here again, of course I CAN”T WAIT TO WATCH THE NEXT EPISODE OF TKM~~~
Today’s episode is a bit still but the songs are great, especially the song “Every Breath You Take” which I think is the catch of the episode, and it has been playing on the trailer for the past one week~! The song at the end is not bad either but I don’t know the name.
Episode 4 is about this, briefly, that The Avillon is publishing a cook book, and Harry wants Maddie to at least have ONE recipe to be included in the cookbook as she has now some fame. Alex isn’t really satisfied with the decision but he has to accept it. She plans to put in her mom’s best dish but it was too ‘classic’ and no sense of ‘modern’, and Alex wants it to be ‘radical’. Instead, Alex changed her recipe completely and Maddie seems satisfied with the end product.
Daniel feels sad because he is not even being asked to include his recipe in the cookbook whereas Maddie the newbie is the one, instead of he himself as the sous chef, the one directly under Alex. Secondly, he gets really really jealous when Alex gets so close with Maddie, and he just won’t admit that he is in love with Maddie when Selena keeps whispering things on his ears. Daniel looks terribly sucks this whole episode coz I only can see his ‘merajuk’ faces with full of jealousy. Meanwhile, Maddie’s father forces Harry to let her sign a contract and she is NOT allowed to read the content and I also don’t know what the contents are… a surprise later on, I guess? Harry really feels bad for doing this but he is left out with no choice as Maddie’s father makes him who he is today.
I think viewers may have their own respective ‘teams’ over here by now, I mean, if they really been watching all the episodes since the 1st until today, which is either ‘Team Daniel’ or ‘Team Alex’ similar to “Team Jacob’ and ‘Team Edward’ among Twilight fans. However there may be some difference in TKM coz the 2 characters here have really vast difference in their personality, style, and the way they attract viewers attention? Which one are you in? Daniel or Alex? At the same time, I would assume, just assume la, that most viewers will be on Team Daniel coz Alex is too egoistic…haha~ But normally the female lead will always choose the male lead which most viewers may not really like, and it seems like Maddie likes Alex even more coz Daniel already ask her for a drink for 2 episodes continuously and yes, she REJECTED exactly twice spontaneously!! Kesian Daniel~~ By the way, I am in Team Daniel~

Okay, it was like ages since I last blogged. Suddenly I just have a sudden urge to update as to express my thoughts about some great shows I am watching now… My STPM in coming really soon and of course la I am very busy with the all preparations so that I can score in the examination.
Recently there is a musical show named ‘The Kitchen Musical’. It is something like an Asian version of Glee, which I think is better than the latter (sorry, Glee fans). I think the producer or writer is a Malaysian, a Penangtie. I feel so proud as a Malaysian~
‘The Kitchen Musical” is mouth-watering dramatic musical TV series packed with hit songs, delicious recipes and vibrant choreography, set in a fast-paced and cut-throat world of culinary arts. Taking place in The Avilon, a famous restaurant, The Kitchen Musical is a story about Maddie (played by Karylle), a rich, young girl straight out of Le Cordon Bleu, Paris, and her journey of self-discovery. Despite being the daughter of the restaurant owner, Maddie chooses to get the support of her colleagues by winning their trust. Daniel (played by Christian Bautista), is a best friend who is always by her side, along with Alex (played by Stehen Rahman Hughes), the main chef who is egoistic, domineering and a perfectionist who always prick on her (esp when she when she always cook with FEELING).
The main characters include:-
Karylle as Maddie Avilon, a fresh graduate of Le Cordon Bleu. She lands a job as the sous chef in her father’s restaurant. She struggles to show her individuality and creativity in the hands of the head chef. And she cooks with FEELING! Haha~
Stephen Rahman Hughes as Alex Marcus, the executive chef of The Avilon, known for his notoriety for perfection.
Christian Bautista as Daniel Ray, a supportive childhood friend of Maddie and the other sous chef of the restaurant.
Arthur Acuña as Harry Shaw, the general manager of The Avilon. He keeps secrets from Maddie on her father’s motives for letting her work in the restaurant.
Rosemary Vandenbroucke as Selena Argon, the sommelier of The Avilon who will do everything to get what she wants. She has a deep desire to get rid of Maddie and win Alex’s heart.
The Kitchen Musical is showing in all around Asia this month. As for Malaysians, catch this every Tuesday in ntv7, 8.30 p.m. and every Saturday in AXN Singapore, 8 p.m.!
